Anne has many years of experience in strategic communication and change management, corporate responsibility, DE&I, and leadership. She most recently held the position of Director of Communications and Sustainability at Forenet Kredit, and has also worked as head of communications at Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten and online bookstore Saxo.com, and in research-based communication at the Danish Cancer Society.

Currently, Anne is an independent advisor at Anne Waagstein Advisory ApS, where she advises on strategic communication and DE&I in practice. Anne is also Vice Chair of Djøf and Chair of Djøf Privat, in addition to other board and advisory board work. She serves as an external examiner in political science at the University of Copenhagen, the University of Southern Denmark, and Aarhus University.
